Patient Management Center

The Clinical Center of the University of Debrecen considers it a priority not only to develop and modernize the infrastructure and professional standards of patient care, but also to improve the effectiveness of communication with patients and expand the range of contact options available to them.

To achieve these goals, the Patient Coordination Center—supporting the operation of outpatient specialist services—was established in 2022.

What do we provide for patients and their relatives?

  • Appointment scheduling at the earliest possible date for the appropriate specialist clinic or outpatient department, based on prior contact and consultation, according to standardized principles
  • Patient registration into the healthcare system, guidance within the building, distribution of patients among specialties, and overall patient coordination
  • Information about outpatient specialist services
  • Information regarding physicians’ availability
  • Information about the rules and procedures for accessing healthcare services
