Department of Internal Medicine, Building "B"

In addition to specialized care provided by the Institute, in 2006 an onco-hematological patient club was also established in the center providing care for the largest number of hematological patients in the region. This is the first such initiative in Hungary aimed at helping patients suffering from lymphatic cancer and their relatives. Since 2012, due to increased demand, we have been organizing programs for all onco-hematological patients.

The objective of the patient club is to

  • improve the patients’ quality of life and the representation of their interests;
  • maintain substantial contacts and collaborate with other clubs in the country focusing on the same patient group;
  • provide information.

Activities of the club:

  • Organizing regular meetings, information sessions, world day events.
  • Providing information with the help of invited guests and our members.
  • Active participation in the information days, world days, and meetings organized nationwide.
  • Participation in theatre or other cultural events in the city.
  • Arranging excursions.
