As a result of development projects realized recently, those diagnostic and therapeutic tools, instruments, devices, and technologies are now available which are needed for the most modern, European-level patient care. This completes the development process that makes the unit for Primary and Specialized Care for Dental Outpatients and Inpatients at the Clinical Center of the University of Debrecen Teaching Hospital a key center in regional patient care in Hungary.

- Outpatient services
Care is provided in 23 dentist’s offices and 93 dental treatment units.

In 2013, when the infrastructural, technical, and financing conditions became available, we introduced dental care for patients with reduced capability for cooperation in general anesthesia and within the framework of same-day surgery.
- Inpatient services
Care for inpatients is provided at the Inpatient Department for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with eighteen beds. The department is responsible for the treatment of oral and maxillofacial cancer patients in Hajdú-Bihar County and it is also a regional center for oral and maxillofacial surgery in Northern Hungary. The new and modern infrastructure of European standard completed in 2011with the help of a grant project (new inpatient department, central operating room, service units) further strengthens the department’s healing and prevention activities of a high quality.
